Physically he has blemishes
Scars on his face
A dislocated knee
But the harmony of his features
Takes my breath away

He might grin
And make funny faces
When I say something strange
But the attention he gives me
Takes my breath away

Beautiful yet not perfect
That's what describes him best
He gives me heart palpitations
And a giddy-headed feeling
Because he makes me so happy
So happy to be around him
I laugh at him
He laughs right back at me

And he just makes my heart sing out for joy
